Newsletter Editor and Technical Guru Required

Newsletter Editor – As we mentioned in the January/February Newsletter, our current Newsletter Editor will be stepping down at the next AGM in March. The Committee would be interested to hear from any Association member that would like to take over the editorship of the Newsletter.

Technical ‘Guru’ – The Committee is also looking for a volunteer to look after the running of the Association’s Website & our internal email set-up from the next AGM in March. If you are interested in taking on either of these roles, please let us know via the usual email address of readingroadplots@woodley-allotments.org.uk and the Committee will be back in touch with you.

A great tool – Sowing & Planting Vegetable Calendar 2023

Although we include a sowing planning guide in our Monthly Newsletter, we came across another one courtesy of The Allotment Garden and Kitchen YouTube Channel.

It was in an original Excel Spreadsheet format, so we have modified it into A3 Landscape PDF.

You can download a copy by clicking on the image below. However, please also pay a visit to the original website (see link above), where you can find a massive amount of relevant information.

February Newsletter available

We have just published our February 2023 Newsletter.

We still continue to hand-deliver paper copies to plot holders who do not have an Internet connection(a little late this month), as well as posting on the Official Facebook Group page and on the Notice Board by the main gate.

We encourage all tenants to ‘Opt-In‘ to our mailing list to receive their copies of the Monthly Newsletter and other publications by email.

You can now download your copy of the February Newsletter by clinking on the image below.
