Plot Inspections to re-start in May 2022

Plot Inspections are carried out by the Committee on behalf of the Woodley Town Council (WTC).

Although basic criteria for Plot Inspections are set out in the 2022 Tenancy Agreement, the Committee and WTC jointly published a Welcome Pack which also contained details about Plot Inspections.

After receiving a number of requests from Tenants, the Plot Inspections section of the Welcome Pack has been separated out into a stand-alone document . This was first made available to Tenants at the recently held AGM in April.

It will also be published separately through the mailing list, a copy will be placed on the main gate notice board with other copies placed in the box attached to the notice board and copies hand-delivered to a number of tenants who are not on the Internet.

If you would like to download your own copy today, you can do this by clicking on the image below.

Scott Golding

It is with great sadness that the Committee has to announce that our Chairman Scott Golding has passed away after a short illness.

The committee will communicate more information at our upcoming AGM. On behalf of all tenants we send his family our deepest condolences at this sad time.

AGM – 2021

Many thanks to everyone that came to AGM – 2021 last Tuesday, nearly 90 people in attendance, a very good turnout.

Please find below some summary feedback about the meeting. Click on the image and you can download a copy for yourself in case you are not on the mailing list.

Full minutes of the meeting will also be made available in due course.

If you know anyone that is not on the Internet or does not have email, then please let them know that we will be posting this Special Bulletin on the notice board by the main gate.

We do know of around 10 people (to date) who are not able to receive electronic communications from the committee and with that in mind we are now printing copies of all relevant communications and hand delivering these to their respective plots.

Constitution – Additional Proposed Changes

As part of the preparations for the upcoming AGM and in response to the Draft Agenda – Special Bulletin 59 that was published last week, we have received a further proposal from another Association Member – Lianne Lewis of Plot M35 – for additional proposed changes the Constitution.

These additional proposed changes to the Constitution build on those already proposed and published in Special Bulletin 60 by another Association Member – Brian Hughes of Plot K33.
